At Boland Aarab PLLP, community investment is not an abstract value, it is a responsibility we take seriously. Our work is rooted in service to people, and we believe that commitment should extend beyond the courtroom. This holiday season, our firm was honored to sponsor a local family through Opportunities Incorporated’s Head Start program, a long-standing organization dedicated to supporting children and families across North Central Montana.
Head Start, operated locally by Opportunities, Inc., provides comprehensive early childhood education and family-support services to low-income households. According to the program’s published information, Head Start focuses on school readiness, health and developmental screenings, family well-being, and strengthening parent-child relationships. Their services include:
These programs exist to give children the best possible start in life and to help families overcome barriers that stand in the way of long-term opportunity. Sponsoring a Head Start family allowed us to meet immediate needs—from warm blankets to diapers to holiday gifts—so parents can focus on what matters most: the well-being of their children.
Our firm is grateful for the opportunity to contribute in a small but meaningful way to the work Head Start does year-round. Their mission aligns with ours: to protect, support, and uplift the people of our community.
Visitors to our office this December will notice a particularly beautiful Christmas tree in our lobby. This tree was purchased through the St. Thomas Festival of Trees, a local fundraising event that brings together businesses, volunteers, families, and local organizations. The proceeds from this longstanding tradition support the children of St Thomas and the ministry’s wider commitment to serving the underprivileged families of our city.
We chose a Festival of Trees holiday tree not only because of its craftsmanship, but because every purchase helps fund work that strengthens our community. Displaying the tree in our office reminds us daily that our success as a law firm is tied to the health, safety, and dignity of the people we serve.
Community investment is not a seasonal effort for us—it is part of the fabric of Boland Aarab PLLP. We are committed to serving individuals and families both inside and outside the courtroom, and we will continue to look for ways to support programs like Head Start, local fundraising efforts, and the many organizations that make Great Falls a stronger, more resilient place to live.
