Why Are We Celebrating Sam Aarab’s 2026 Rising Stars Selection?

Boland Aarab PLLP congratulates Samir “Sam” Aarab on his selection to the 2026 Mountain States Rising Stars list. Sam is a trial lawyer, which means his work is to prepare a client’s case as though it will be tried, because that preparation is how a person actually obtains the redress Montana law promises.

Samir Aarab Selected to the 2026 Mountain States Rising Stars List

We are pleased to share that Sam Aarab has been selected to the 2026 Mountain States Rising Stars list.

The notice credits the results of the attorneys it names.

The case belongs to the client, and so does the result; a list like this only records work that clients trusted us to do for them.

Preparing the Case

Awards and recognition follow the work; they do not substitute for it, and no client has ever obtained a remedy because of one.

Every case is a person with a problem, and the problem usually involves money, health, or the shape of a family’s future. Montana’s constitution provides that the courts are open and that a speedy remedy is afforded for every injury of person, property, or character (Mont. Const. art. II, § 16), and the code gives that guarantee content by allowing a person who suffers detriment from another’s unlawful act to recover damages (Mont. Code Ann. § 27-1-202). Those promises are worth only what someone is willing to prove, so Sam listens to the client first and then does the work that makes proof possible — the discovery, the experts, the exhibits, the willingness to put the question to a jury. Preparing a case for trial is how a client obtains the full measure of the law, whether the case is tried or resolved before trial, and holding the responsible party accountable is the mechanism the system uses to make an injured person whole.

Sam does that work for clients across Montana.

The Boland Aarab Way

At Boland Aarab PLLP, representation begins with listening, because the objectives of a representation belong to the client rather than to the lawyer (Mont. R. Prof. Conduct 1.2(a)), and it continues for as long as the client’s case requires.

We learn what the client is facing, explain the available options and the risk in each of them in plain language, and then build the strategy the client chooses and carry it through trial if the other side leaves no better path.

A client is entitled to know the status of the matter, the options that remain open, and the consequences of each of them (Mont. R. Prof. Conduct 1.4), and that duty is a floor rather than a courtesy.

We are glad for the recognition, and we are clear about what it is: a note about work that belonged to the clients who brought us their cases We are happy for Sam all the same. Congratulations!.
