We’ve Moved Into the Historic Silver State Building!

Big news: Boland Aarab PLLP has a new home.

Over Labor Day weekend we packed, hauled, cleaned, and set up shop in the Silver State Building at 526 1st Avenue North in downtown Great Falls. If you’ve walked through town, you know the building—it’s the handsome 1910 brick landmark on the corner with tall windows, a copper cornice, and Classical Revival details.

The Silver State has always been tied to Great Falls’ spirit of growth. It was built by L.H. Hamilton—known as the “Dean of Montana Sheepmen”—as the first major garage in the city. Back then, horse-drawn wagons still ruled the streets, but Hamilton saw the future and drove a Franklin automobile all the way from Boston to Great Falls in 1910. Cars were sold and serviced right here in this building, and before long they were everywhere.

For us, moving into this space marks the same kind of turning point. Our firm has grown quickly, and we simply needed more room. The Silver State gives us that, but it also connects us to the history and resilience of downtown Great Falls.

We’re grateful for everyone who helped us make the move (it all came together in just 48 hours!) and we’re excited to welcome clients and colleagues here.
